Women in Leadership Nonprofit

In Argentina the organization promotes women to lead their communities in economic, political and social progress. They achieve this through a wide variety of training programs, by galvanizing connections via strategic networking, and conducting rigorous monitoring of women empowerment policies and practices of third party organizations.

Possible Intern Roles:

PROGRAM ASSISTANT INTERN

The intern will assist the Program Manager leading a Monitoring and Evaluation campaign of a third party company. This could include conducting a data analysis, compiling reports or presentations, and/or interacting with the third party company and the communities they serve.

Suggested Spanish level: Advanced
Candidate requirements: Proficiency in Excel or other data analytics programs, Passion for women empowerment in leadership positions.

COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

The intern will work directly with the Communications team to improve their web and social media presence. They may be asked to produce content in English or in Spanish that spreads awareness of the organizations mission and shares the progress made on their various programs across the country.

Suggested Spanish level: Intermediate
Candidate requirements: Work or academic experience with social media, marketing and/or graphic design preferred.

FUNDRAISING INTERN

Due to the current economic climate in Argentina, non-profit organizations struggle to secure long term funding and therefore rely heavily on foreign grants. The Fundraising Inter may be asked to research and compile a list of relevant foreign funding opportunities, present a strategic plan for securing funds and/or participate actively in the application process.

Suggested Spanish level: Intermediate
Candidate requirements: Excellent writing skills is essential, past experience with grant writing is preferred.
