The deadline to apply for the 2027 Puentes Access Grants is February 9, 2027.
We are pleased to offer Puentes Access Grants to help bridge the funding gap and provide access to international immersion experiences. At Puentes, we are committed to diversity, and we strive to make our programs accessible for all participants.
WHAT?
Grants of US$1,000 per selected applicant, which are applicable as credit towards the program fee for the Puentes In-Person Internship Program and Remote Internship Program.
WHO?
We are looking for high achievers, innovators, impacters, dreamers, and leaders. At least an intermediate Spanish level is recommended. If you are applying to the Internship Program through a Puentes partner university (list here), please inquire with your university to see if you are eligible to apply for a Puentes Access Grant.
WHEN?
The application deadline is February 9, 2027, and selected grantees will be announced by February 19, 2027. The grants can be used as credit towards participation in the Puentes Remote and In-Person Internship Program during the 2027 calendar year.
HOW?
Complete the Puentes Access Grant Application Form, with a 500- to 750-word letter to Puentes Abroad on how you hope to impact the world as a global citizen through your work and why you think pursuing an internship through Puentes will help you achieve this. If awarded a Puentes Access Grant, you will be asked to share short, written reflections on your experience.
