1- Apply through your university

Puentes partners with select universities to offer our in-person internship and remote internship programs. Students from our below partner universities must submit all required application materials directly to your university. Please check your respective university’s program webpage to find your application deadline. Your university will notify you of the admissions decision.

*If you are not currently enrolled at one of the above universities, you can apply directly through the Puentes Bridge Select Program.

2- Speak with us and share your internship interests

As part of the application and enrollment process, you will have a one-on-one advising call with the Puentes team to tell us about yourself and your internship objectives. You will also complete the Puentes Internship Interest Form to share with us your resume, statement of interest, and insights about your internship preferences.

3- fINALIZE YOUR INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT

Once all summer interns are confirmed and enrolled, Puentes will coordinate online interviews between interns and potential internship sites (companies and organizations).  After the interviews, we will collect interns’ interview feedback and the internship sites’ preferences in order to confirm the internship placement for each summer intern.

We will then work with you on comprehensive pre-program preparation to ensure that you are fully prepared to dive into your Puentes experience.
