The team will work to personalize the internship to match the intern’s skills and interests, create a space for the intern to share new ideas, initiatives, or engage in discussions that enhance both the company and the internship experience. They are looking for an intern who is eager to collaborate with new creative ideas, giving them the freedom to explore how they feel they could add something valuable to our company through the development of a social media plan. We would like for them to progress at their own pace with our guidance, learn more about our company and give us their insights on how they think they could improve something. We also seek and encourage good visual communication of ideas.

COMMUNICATIONS AND SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

The interns primary objective will be to develop and implement a comprehensive social media plan for the design studio, aiming to elevate the brand's presence and foster engagement across various product lines. This experience enhances strategic social media skills, providing practical insights into impactful campaigns contributing to increased brand awareness.

The intern will be responsible for conducting market research, formulating social media strategy, utilizing visual assets, monitoring and analyzing metrics, and crafting communication materials.

Suggested Spanish level: No Spanish required
Candidate requirements: The intern should have academic experience in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Consumer Psychology or a related field. Technical experience in content creation and social media is strongly preferred.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN

The primary objective will be to independently lead business development by researching new client leads in architecture and interior design, and hone skills in personalized outreach and proposal creation for these sectors.

The intern will research potential clients in architecture and interior design, cultivating skills in understanding market dynamics locally and globally. They will also have the opportunity to create personalized outreach strategies to connect with architects, interior designers, and companies in the furniture procurement process, thereby enhancing their communication and relationship-building skills. They will be asked to draft proposal(s) aligning with the unique needs of architecture and interior design professionals and analyze markets for potential expansion, providing insights into trends, competition, and growth opportunities in architecture and interior design sectors. Upon completion the intern will be asked to summarize research findings, outreach activities, and proposal outcomes.

Candidate requirements: The intern should have an academic background in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field. Desired technical skills include Lead Research, Outreach Strategies, Proposal Creation, Market Analysis, Report and Presentation.

GRAPHIC AND WEB DESIGN INTERN

The primary objective is for candidates with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills to collaborate on the integration of innovative features into the upcoming website, with a focus on elevating user experience and functionality. During the internship the intern will work to enhance the user interface by creating an engaging and visually appealing digital experience; and integrate new features into the website that align with the design philosophy, emphasizing the unique elements of our brand. This intern will also work to improve user interaction by implementing new features that enhance functionality and engagement, while also engaging in discussions with the creating team to ensure the project evolves dynamically, incorporating diverse perspectives. The anticipated product will be a website showcasing seamlessly integrated new features, reflecting the studio’s commitment to providing an enhanced online experience.

Suggested Spanish level: No Spanish required
Candidate requirements: Academic background in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, candidates with a different major but possessing knowledge in programming will be considered. Desired technical skills include a medium level knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (optional).

Marketing and Graphic design INTERN

The primary objective of the intern will be to execute a comprehensive graphic design project for the studio, crafting visually appealing brochures and marketing materials showcasing the furniture collections, emphasizing key features and unique selling points. This will be achieved with Adobe Photoshop and either Illustrator or InDesign for the creation of high-quality marketing collateral, assuming basic proficiency in at least one of these programs. The anticipated outcomes are professionally designed brochures that highlight the studio’s furniture collections, contributing to enhanced marketing collateral. The aim for the intern is that they will strengthen their proficiency in expressing design philosophy, while expanding their portfolio with valuable content.

Candidate requirements: The intern should have have an academic background in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Desired technical skills include a medium level knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and in either Adobe Illustrator or InDesign.
