Children-Centered Community Development NGO

This non-profit focuses on creating safe spaces for education, recreation, emotional support, and self-expression for at-risk children. It carries out its activities in neighborhoods in and around the city of Buenos Aires. It is comprised of over 200 volunteers from various professional backgrounds, who are committed to addressing social injustice. They work by creating alliances with three fundamental actors: the family, the school, and the state. Only through this collaboration does the organization consider that real change is possible. Their aim is not solely to provide basic needs but to empower children, offer them dignified childhoods and educate them so they can have access to more opportunities. The intern will assist with international fundraising efforts and/or communication and marketing efforts.
