This Fintech startup is dedicated to providing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with solutions to short-term financing problems (working capital) using technology and innovative business models. While SMEs benefit from better solutions for financing their businesses, investors will also gain new investment opportunities that a few institutions have historically controlled.

The startup is eager to work with an intern who can help take the company to the next level. The intern will get to work alongside the company’s founders and be part of their great team in a dynamic work environment in a very culturally immersive space with young colleagues and coworkers in the financial heart of the city.

Possible Intern Roles:

Technology INTERN

The startup is developing its technology platform to make the user experience as seamless as possible both for internal and external clients. In addition to enhancing the user experience, the intern will be able to put their knowledge into practice by proposing potential improvements to the existing technology platform.

Suggested Spanish level: Basic
Candidate requirements: Ideal candidates will have web development experience and understand user experience (UX)/user interface (UI).

MARKETING AND WRITING INTEN

The intern will acquire knowledge about the company’s advertising processes to actively participate in the creation of new customer engagement channels while perfecting the existing ones. It is expected that the intern understands Unit Economics.

Suggested Spanish level: Basic
Candidate requirements: This role suits an intern who has knowledge of Marketing Business to Business (B2B), lead nurturing, growth hacking, social media, ad-words, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

FUNDRAISING INTERN

The startup is in the process of changing from a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) marketplace business model to an administrated funding model. They are currently striving to obtain funding from multilateral investors who are interested in the economy of the country and region. Potential investors may be individuals as well as private large financial institutions such as banks.

Suggested Spanish level: Intermediate
Candidate requirements: This role suits an intern who has experience in finance, management of investor portfolios, and strong public relations abilities.
