Application Process

1- SUBMIT THE INTEREST FORM 

We’ll ask you a few basic questions to understand which program you are interested in and when you might be joining us.

2- apply to ucema

Based on your responses to the form, we will share the next steps for you to complete your application to UCEMA.

3- Submit the Puentes Internship Interest Form

We will share the link to the Puentes Internship Interest Form, which will ask for an upload of your resume and statement of interest. After you submit the Internship Interest Form, you will receive the link to schedule an Advising Call with Puentes so that we can learn more about you and your internship preferences, tell you more about the program, and determine if you are a good fit.  

3- pay the program fee

After receiving admission to UCEMA and the Puentes Semester Internship program, you will need to pay the program fee to Puentes to confirm your spot.

4- Program preparation begins

After you pay the program fee, we will send you access to our exclusive Puentes Portal and ask you to submit our Pre-Program Form so we can begin to plan your program. Once all semester interns are fully confirmed and enrolled, Puentes will coordinate online interviews between interns and potential internship sites (companies and organizations).  After the interviews, we will collect interns’ interview feedback and the internship sites’ preferences in order to confirm the internship placement for each semester intern.
