Funding for International Internships

To help fund your Puentes adventure, we have compiled a list of potential external scholarships, grants, and scholarship databases that support global internship programs such as Puentes.  As you apply for funding, keep in mind that Puentes is able provide you with a letter of invitation or other supporting materials if needed.

We also strongly recommend that you speak with your university’s study abroad and career services offices, as well as your academic department of study, in order to explore their funding opportunities.

Crowdfunding can be a viable option to fund part or all of the program fee by tapping into your own established network of family and friends. You can consider setting up your own personal fundraising campaign on websites like GoFundMe or FundMyTravel.

Are you are a high-achieving BIPOC and/or low-income student? You can apply for a Puentes Access Grant to help fund your Puentes internship program.
