Governmental student exchange organization whose mission is to promote better understanding between people of different countries through educational and cultural exchanges. Since its creation in 1956, approximately 9,000 Argentine and United States citizens have participated in these exchange programs.
This government agency emerged in response to Argentina’s rapid globalization and accelerated technological revolution. The agency is in charge of coordinating the policies on the development and strengthening of technical and vocational education for technical high schools, community colleges, and vocational schools. It is also responsible for designing, planning, regulating, and financing technical and vocational education in Argentina.
