Program Activities
To complement your work experience on the consulting projects for your host companies, your program includes cultural activities to help you get to know the hotspots and hidden gems of your new home city - beautiful and dynamic Buenos Aires.
Orientation Seminar
We will review important information on living and working in Buenos Aires, including recommendations on safety, health, transportation, local culture, and more.
City Tour
During your arrival weekend, you’ll go on a city tour of the major sights and neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. You’ll be oriented in no time!
Highlights of Buenos Aires include the colorful “Caminito” of La Boca, the vast parks of Palermo, the Parisian architecture of Recoleta, and the historical Plaza de Mayo square.
Estancia Day Trip
We will experience the countryside lifestyle for the day. We will have empanadas upon arrival and then enjoy a traditional “asado” lunch. We’ll also get the chance to ride horses, explore the estancia, play soccer, and do other activities on the estancia grounds.
Tango Lesson
Originating along the Rio de la Plata in the 1880’s, the tango is an important and vivid part of these countries’ heritage. Argentines are enthusiastic and passionate dancers, so you can learn some of their dance moves in a tango class through your program.
Palacio Barolo
Inspired by Dante and The Divine Comedy, the building symbolizes the journey from hell to heaven.
You will explore the grand lobby, ascend through the distinctive floors, and marvel at the tower's panoramic view.
Welcome and Farewell Dinners
We will be having a welcome and farewell dinner to make your start and finish in Buenos Aires memorable through typical Argentine cuisine. We will have the oportunity to try new dishes, reflect, and get to know each other!
Housing
You will be staying in double or triple rooms at Alta Piazza (José Leon Pagano 2634).
Conveniently located in the elegant neighborhood of Recoleta, Alta Piazza is a former hotel that evolved into a modern, luxury apartment building. Amenities include WiFi, security staff on site, and a large lobby area.
