Panelists:
Gastón Gertner holds a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University and specializes in impact evaluation and behavioral-science-informed public policy. He has over 15 years of experience leading research and consulting projects across Latin America in areas like housing, energy, health, and education, working with organizations such as the IDB, World Bank, and UNICEF. From 2021 to 2024, he directed the Center for Evaluation and Evidence-Based Policymaking at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. In 2025–2026, he will be a Policy Leader Fellow at the Florence School of Transnational Governance. His current work focuses on policy frameworks for accelerating the transition to zero-emission homes.
Magali Bejar is a computer engineer, entrepreneur, and founder of Tiene que haber algo más, an education company helping Hispanic professionals find remote jobs and close the opportunity gap with international companies. She studied at Georgetown University, Singularity University, and the London School of Economics, where she was selected as a Women Emerging Leader. Remote named her one of the Top 50 Remote Influencers, and she won Globant’s Women that Build award. Her podcast ranks in the top 5% of most-viewed podcasts globally on Spotify. Magalí has 10 years of experience as a product manager in tech, has worked remotely since 2018, and has traveled around the world five times. She is the main organizer of EmprendING, a startup class in UBA. She was a guest speaker at Google, Georgetown University, Fuck up Nights, and IAE Business School.
Mercedes Werner holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Master’s in Vocational Education and Innovation from the Technical University of Munich. With over 15 years of experience leading educational projects, she brings together knowledge of public education systems and expertise in digital innovation. She previously served as General Director of Digital Education for the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and currently leads a consultancy that helps organizations strengthen their digital learning strategies.
