On Tuesday, June 10, we will be partner with Olla San Ignacio to have our Community Impact Experience, which is an opportunity to give back to the local Uruguayan community.

Olla San Ignacio is a local meal center that serves food to the under resourced of the community. Their goal is to generate, through food aid, a meeting place which welcomes with love and the compassion of Christ those in a state of social vulnerability During the event, Puentes participants will work with the center’s volunteers to prepare the food for that evening, which will consist of a merienda and cena, while also getting the chance to meet and speak with the individuals and families present.

The Community Impact Experience is a highlight for many interns, as it's an incredible way to understand Uruguay's socioeconomic context and make an impact with a local community in need.
