You can further enhance your cultural immersion and also gain professional experience by doing an internship. We will set up an engaging internship at a high-performing nonprofit or business in Buenos Aires, in which you will undertake meaningful work with close supervision. Throughout the internship, you will have regular check in meetings with your internship supervisor in order to review recent and upcoming work. Additionally, you, the Puentes staff, and your internship supervisor will have an initial meeting and a mid-internship site visit meeting to provide a space to review your project work plan and communicate learnings, challenges, successes, and goals. At the end of the internship, you and your internship supervisor will have a closing meeting to reflect on your internship experience. Enhance your professional skills through two one-on-one mentoring sessions with Puentes staff. The first session focuses on resume building and provides you with personalized revisions on your resume. In the second session on professional interviewing, you do a mock interview with Puentes staff and then receive detailed feedback on your interviewing style and responses, as well as helpful tips on best practices for job interviews.
