The civil society organization seeks to overcome the situation of poverty for millions of people living in popular settlements, through the joint action of their inhabitants and the young volunteers who work with the organization in 19 countries in Latin America. Intern Project Examples:

1 - Research and Analysis Intern

The intern will conduct a strategic analysis of key parts of the organization in order to improve internal processes. A possible project focus would be on analyzing the volunteer system, since the organization has a large and active corps of volunteers across the country. The intern would conduct a historical analysis of volunteer participation and training, with a review of the number of volunteers needed to guarantee an effective volunteer cycle and, in turn, to maintain operability.

2 - Monitoring and Evaluation Intern

The intern will carry out evaluations to measure the social impact of organization’s key projects. To carry out the project, the intern will review historical evaluation data, meet with program directors, and develop new evaluative tools to measure indicator success. The project result will be a report with findings and recommendations for how to improve program impact.
