We are delighted that you are interested in interning and experiencing Buenos Aires with Puentes. We look forward to working with you through the application process outlined below in order to craft your ideal internship and plan your Puentes adventure.
Step 1 - Application
Submit your initial information on the Application Form found at the link below. Please also email your resume (in English or Spanish) to us at email@example.com.
Step 2 - Call with Puentes Staff
Upon submitting your application form and resume, please click on the link below to sign up for a one-on-one phone conversation with Puentes staff so that we can learn more about you and start the internship matching process.
Step 3 - Recommendations and Deposit
Following our initial conversation, please send to us two letters of recommendation (in English or Spanish) from professors, mentors, or supervisors at firstname.lastname@example.org. The program deposit is also due at this time. If you do not approve an internship placement within two weeks of receiving your first internship offer, your deposit will be fully refunded.
Step 4 - Interview with Internship Sites
Based upon your application materials and your initial conversation with the Puentes staff, you will be referred to two internship sites. You will have a phone or Skype interview with each site. In these conversations, the internship site will get to know more about you, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Step 5 - Matching Process
The Puentes staff will collect your preferences and the internship site preferences. Offers will be extended where there is a match in preferences. Upon receiving an internship offer, you will have two weeks to accept or decline the position.
Step 6 - Confirm
Upon accepting an offer, Puentes will connect you with your future supervisor to complete a Commitment Form to outline goals, expectations, and details for the internship. Only after you confirm your internship placement will we ask that the balance of the program fee be paid.
